The Food and Drug Administration has just issued a recall for Adderall IR (immediate release) because the medication appears to be too potent.
Side effects related to the medication could include cardiovascular, neurologic, psychiatric and gastrointestinal reactions such as: palpitations, tachycardia, hypertension, headache, tremor, tic, dyskinesia, dizziness, blurred vision, sweating, insomnia, agitation, euphoria, mania, anxiety, restlessness, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth, and decreased appetite.

Thanks for the info! I am really fed up with medication for ADHD. Every month I hear something bad about their side effect. Now there is a recall. My son has been on Adderall for 6 months. There must be some alternative out there. I am going to check out what you wrote about neuro-cognitive therapy. Thanks again. James
